Ok, I'll admit it.  Now that bleach is no longer focused on ichigo's powerups, I've really enjoyed the last couple of chapters and am probably not going to be too annoyed at the outcomes of the fights.  320 had a nice bit of fanservice for ginkira, and charlotte coolhorn is, as expected, really traumatizing.  Who knew szayel aporro grantz was just a warmup?  yumichika, I salute you.

You may as well go on and read everything by frozen shattered roses (whatever warning bells the username has set off, ignore them).  I first read inferno, which is about zaraki and his bankai and caused me to look up all the other fics.  The epic is after the fairy tale ends, which is a more serious (but still humorous) story than most of the others.  She does an interesting first person pov.  (inferno cries out for fanart, btw, but if the author's received any she hasn't linked them.)

I also rec vathara, who you might know from any number of other fandoms, because this is crossover central, here.  It's a very aggressive process, which, admittedly, may leave one confused about what is unfamiliar canon and what is original worldbuilding.  I actually first encountered this author through ygo xovers as much as 4 years ago.  As far as bleach goes, so far there is project tatterdemalion (not an xover, just a scifi au), and lone flower and petals in the wind, which are bleach-btvs.

EDIT: er, actually I was hoping someone could help me find a fic.  I haven't actually read it so I can't say anything about its quality; I read the summary (just yesterday?!?!) but can't find it again.  It's probably on ffn, no idea on its length, status, or genres, but basically both ichigo's parents die (together?  In a car accident or something?) when he's rather young, so he (and the twins?) are raised by Urahara.  And that's all I know.

EDIT2: fic being sought is actually a "forthcoming" project someone wrote a summary for on their ffn profile, so am not going crazy.  Great.  Good to know.
